Welcome to Shower Gifts and Kid Stuff.  I decided to get into the business of selling baby shower gifts online for the simple reason that I believe there are people everywhere who want to give a great, high quality baby shower gift but can't always find the time to go shopping, someone to babysit their children, or who don't like going out into crowds.  People who would like to shop in the privacy of their own home any time they felt like it. 

When planning my early retirement from the United States Postal Service (I was a first line supervisor at the mail processing plant in Cincinnati, Ohio), I knew that I would want to remain busy.  I did  not want to become a couch potato and vegetate all day.  The idea of having a website was very appealing to me.  I could enjoy my retirement at home and still remain productive.   My three children are now adults and I have eight grandchildren, four boys and four girls.   Having a website that sold great gifts, toys, clothing, etc. for babies and children really appealed to me; thus, Shower Gifts and Kid Stuff was born. 

I feel strongly about giving to others less fortunate.  My oldest grandaughter is handicapped both mentally and physically.  She is the love of our lives and an angel here on earth.  Because of her and others like her, I support Special Olympics Mississippi.  I also support St. Jude's Research Hospital in Memphis TN, who help all children, whether they can pay or not.
